End-of-Life Support
The White Dove Difference
Why Nurse-Led is Different
Our registered nurses are trained in palliative and end-of-life symptom management — including pain assessment when patients cannot verbalize, positioning for comfort, and recognizing the signs of active dying. We partner with your hospice team to extend clinical presence in the home around the clock.
Questions Answered
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same as hospice?
No, but we work alongside hospice. Hospice provides the medical benefit and core team; we provide extended in-home caregiver hours, RN-supervised comfort care, and family respite so your loved one is never alone. Many families use both together.
Can you provide 24-hour care at the end of life?
Yes. We offer 24-hour and live-in coverage during this critical time, with RN oversight to manage comfort and recognize changes. Families can rest knowing their loved one has continuous, compassionate presence.
How do you manage pain at end of life?
Our RNs partner with your hospice nurse and physician to assess pain — including non-verbal signs — and reinforce the comfort plan. Caregivers help with positioning, mouth care, and gentle touch that complement medical pain management.
Do you support the family too?
Yes. We provide respite so family caregivers can sleep, education on what to expect, and bereavement resources after a loss. Call (609) 373-6631 in Atlantic or Cape May County to talk with an RN.
